    Having Sex in the same position.{Health Question}

    Hi I am new to this thread and hope this is the correct place for this, if not sorry.

    I have been with my boyfriend for about 6 years now and 98% of the time we have [rough ] sex in the same position.

    My question is can doing this desensitize down there, especially after such a long time? I don't get the same sensation as before and it just feels pointless. I still have feelings for him etc. but something literally doesn't feel right no matter how much time in between.

    Additional info: I guess we are usually more on the rough side, he's on the bigger side as well, I've been doing kiegels, haven't had an orgasm for FAR too long, we've tried other positions and my last gyno checkup the dr said i'm healthy (but i did forget to mention this problem).

    Thanks in advance.

    Do you enjoy the rough sex? Do YOU want anything else like more foreplay, etc.

      I don't know if it would necessarily "desensitize" you by doing it in the same position. However, you should probably vary your positions to keep it interesting. Different positions could give you different sensations (ie: more control with cowgirl, more g-spot stimulation with doggy).

        Variation is good - both in atmosphere and in positions. It makes sex more fun . Rough sex is OK if you both enjoy it, but not if it isn't pleasant for you. I think it should also be mixed with other things.
